Early Life
Ayesha was born in 1987 in Hasilpur, in Punjab Territory, Pakistan. She experienced childhood in a military family, and her dad was a pilot in the PAF. Ayesha was constantly keen on flying, and she decided to follow in her father’s footsteps.
In 2007, Ayesha graduated from high school and applied to the PAF Academy. She was accepted, and she began her training as a pilot. Ayesha’s training was rigorous, but she excelled in all areas. She moved on from the foundation in 2010 and was dispatched as a pilot official.
After graduating from the academy, Ayesha went on to train on the Chengdu J-7 fighter jet. The J-7 is a Chinese-made fighter jet that is used by the PAF. Ayesha’s training on the J-7 was demanding, but she persevered. She ultimately dominated the airplane and turned into a certified pilot.
In 2013, Ayesha passed the final exams to qualify for combat. She was then assigned to Squadron 20, which is based at Mushaf Air Base in Sargodha. Squadron 20 is a fighter squadron that flies the J-7.
Part in the mission Zarb-e-Azab
In 2014, Ayesha took part in the mission Zarb-e-Azab, which was a military operation against the Taliban in North Waziristan. Ayesha flew missions in the J-7 and supported ground troops in their fight against the Taliban.
