Junaid Jamshed was a Pakistani vocalist musician, TV character, entertainer, and preacher. Widely recognized for his iconic song “Dil Dil Pakistan” was born on 3rd September 1964 and wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father by becoming a fighter pilot but couldn’t do so due to his weak eyesight but joined the Pakistan Air Force as engineer by doing engineering from the university of engineering and technology Lahore after some time he didn’t pursue that path and become a musician and also couldn’t pursue that too for a long time and ended up by becoming a preacher of Islam and a businessman till death.

Through his iconic voice and versatility and mainly devotion to his music, he gave many pop-rock bands and solo songs. His song “Dil Dil Pakistan” became an anthem for Pakistan till now. His powerful vocals and heartfelt performances captivated audiences with hits such as “Tum Mil Gaye” and “Aitebar”. He also showcased his soulful voice as a Naat khawan, such as, “Mera Dil badal dey” and “Ilahi teri chokhat pe”.

His name was included in the book “The Muslim 500” as an influential Muslim. He also worked with a lot of NGOs like Muslim Charity which expanded to 16 countries during his involvement.
